Sprite tried blackcurrant seeds this morning and really liked them.


Just in case anybody is worried about me feeding a fruit seed, here is the information.


The “seeds” of the currant are biologically called “nuts” and contain just as many vitamins and nutrients.

The seeds do not contain any significant sugar content, which is why they can also be fed to dwarf hamsters or degus.

The small grains can be offered as a treat to all rodents and rabbits , as no sugar is deposited in the kernels. But they are particularly popular with small rodents.

He is so gentle. He sometimes gently plays with my fingers. It is so cute.
