I thought this was cute. Sprite carefully stored a hibiscus flower in his hide. The following evening he went to eat it before scent marking his wheel. He really loves hibiscus. :)

He really does love his flowers doesn’t he, I think all of mine have ignored the hibiscus.
He almost looks as though he’s in a rocking chair in his wheel!

He does look like he's in a rocking chair in his wheel :-) He clearly loves his wheel (and his hibiscus flowers) :-) It's always lovely watching him enjoying things.

Aw, thank you. I find it so adorable how much he loves flowers. Orko loved them too. :)

I have just finished painting the Trixie house I bought Sprite. It is the smaller version and I tried to choose colours to set off his fur. 20231121_160514.webp20231121_160528.webp

I love that! It looks great & I’m sure Sprite will love it too.

I love that Sprite still rolls on his wheel like it's a little sand bath. Those flowers are super serious business, keep the cloud away from them at all costs!

That house looks amazing! How did you get such perfect white polka dots?

You mean you painted them on by hand? That is very clever - I don't think I could get spots that accurate! What type of pen?

No, I dipped the end of a pen in the white plastikote and then pressed it onto the house. Kind of like using a stamp. I could never paint them by hand. The whole thing took me a week and a lot of stress and frustration. I glued an aspen slice to the window as well to ensure Sprite would not try and chew the window to get out of it.

That's a clever idea :) It's been worth the effort - it looks lovely.

I love the house. You've done a great job. I'm looking forward to seeing what Sprite thinks to his new house 🐹💕

Thank you. I put it in his playpen so he will see it when he next wants to play. :)

As soon as Sprite was in his playpen this morning he went straight to his new house. I quickly tried to record him for Frida. :)

Yesterday he did not want to interact with me at all which is unlike him but today is the opposite and I even got some kisses. :)
