I hope it isn't. It's possible it could just be a cyst. Not all tumours have stems. Some can still be quite mobile. If you do manage to feel gently and he doesn't get too stressed by that, you could try to feel if it is a hard lump or a squishy lump, but only the vet will really be able to tell. He's not that old so it could quite easily be just a cyst.

He was a very good boy he let me pick him up multiple times last night to have a feel. He managed to retract it whenever I had a squish?!?!?! But it was not lumpy or touch, very squishy and didn’t have a stem

That's good news. I haven't heard of a hamster having hemorrhoids before! Has he prescribed any treatment?

Glad to hear it doesn’t seem to be anything too serious then, I haven't heard of a hamster having hemorrhoids before either.

no prescription, just told me to keep an eye on it. but she wasn't concerned

That's good. Maybe he was just born like that :)

He has always had a strange genital area tbh haha also the vet told him to learn some manners and be kind to his mum on our way out cose he near enough bit my finger off haha

Aw - I hope it didn't hurt too much :-) Clearly he didn't like going to the vets.

Good news to hear the vet did not think it anything serious 👍

I was just wondering how you find the full perspex panels for the Plaza 100 eviee? I've considered getting them the odd time (although currently have plenty of screw on panels) but have heard that they can fall out when you pick the top of the cage up. Is that right? I'd have thought the "feet" at the end of the side struts would hold them in place.

I got mine from viking laser and yeah they do fall out so it makes spot cleaning a little more difficult but luckily the opening for the door is wide enough to put my arm in
