Rainbow message 🌈

I’ve been thinking about getting another hamster for a while, I’m used to having three & just having one still seems a bit strange.
After about four months I finally felt ready to clear out Zak’s cage & I’ve given it a revamp & been thinking about getting another little one to live in there.
Still uncertain I was thinking about it just now, after a very wet morning again we’ve had a break & some sunshine but suddenly it hammered down & I looked up at the window thinking “Send me a sign Zak”.
At that very moment a rainbow appeared, just briefly before it was gone again but enough for me to feel that it’s ok to move on now & for another ham to join us.

We used to get a lot of rainbows but they’ve een quite rare lately, I did see one just after Gus & Meri went to the bridge last year but almost nothing since, I think I’ve only seen one since Zak went & that wasn’t visible from indoors so I would have missed it if the postman hadn’t told me!
So, that just makes it extra special really.

I agree that rainbows are special I had to say goodbye to my dog this year, and had a really tough time missing him on his birthday in September. Just as I was at my lowest point on that day I noticed some odd raindrops despite bright sunshine and there was a beautiful big rainbow which lasted for ages. In fact, there was a double rainbow It really did seem like a beautiful gift from him

We have had similar weather here. I was out the other day and looked up and saw a huge rainbow. I haven’t seen one in ages and not so easy over London. I wondered who it was meant for and asked for an explanation. Now I know.
