With a brand new cage the bars must smell a bit strange to him, I’m sure he’ll soon make them smell nicer though.

I also watched him pull himself up onto his shelf this morning! If he can do that, he should be able to get into the sputnik - although that's slightly different. Maybe he just expected it to be lower and hadn't got the hang of it.

Does he get into the sputnik from the shelf? If yes, you could put down a little step.

 

[Maz]

Yes he does. But if he can pull himself up onto the shelf, he shouldn't need a step!

It’s still very early days, I’m sure he’ll figure everything out in his own way soon enough.

I think so too. I'll keep my eye on it and see if he needs a little step.

Unusual for Raffy, but last night he decided not to come out. He was up and about and I offered him his tube and he nearly went in then changed his mind. He was still out and about so I offered it to him again and he didn't want to come out. So I went to bed. Only the second time he has ever not wanted to come out at night! Maybe he had other plans

Oh definitely He was desperate to be out last night. He looks cute in the tissue box and seemed happy to find it. Maybe I should turn it into a digging box - although it's not very deep. He does like climbing into boxes.

It seems Raffy has been continuing with the house warming riotous party. Last night I found the flower toy had been removed from its corner - dragged a few inches and tipped on its side

Really must get the night cam going again. I can’t use it till I swap routers after changing the internet provider.
