Porridge

Hi all,

In another thread a member mentioned about porridge oats they give their little hamster.

With water and plain?

I had Sainsbury's Scottish oats, could I use that with water and feed her?

I made Blossom some porridge in her last weeks. I used a teaspoon of porridge oats with a couple of teaspoons of boiling water and mixed together. I then dispensed it into her food bowl which cooled it enough. She loved it

Yes, you can microwave it for a second or two as well, or if you like porridge, make a bowl and give Luna a little bit ❤

Those oats are fine Any porridge oats are ok. I do it in the microwave as Socks Mum says - 10 seconds at a time. You have to guess the amounts really - I do a heaped teaspoonful of porridge and a bit of water and check after 10 seconds, leaving it fairly runny as it thickens as it cools. Then it needs to cool down. It doesn't want to be too thick and sticky.

Luna will love it!

I used to give Kulfi (rip) those same type of oats with water and crushed up hemp seeds.
