Petal passed over the Rainbow Bridge 🌁 🌈 💗

It’s with great sadness that I am letting you know that our beloved Russian Dwarf Hamster Petal (Petsy) passed over peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 2 years and 6 months.
Petsy will always be in my heart, always will be loved and she’ll never be forgotten. She was a sweet, adorable little lady, and it was a joy and a privilege to have her and love her!
Rest in peace my little Angel, I miss you so so much! Mummy

I am so sorry She is playing free over the rainbow bridge now, free from pain. You must all miss her very much. She lived to a grand age.

It seemed that when she squealed, it was because she turned over and struggled to turn back. It only happened a couple of times after my initial post. She remained a plucky little old lady till the last minute. She was so cute, very happy when I gave her berries (blueberries were her favourite closely followed by blackberries) and she always fiercely attacked a piece of apple She loved apples! I can’t believe she’s gone but I’m glad she had such a long life and that she went so peacefully!
