Peeing in coco peat - how to clean?

I've had my rehomed Syrian female for a couple weeks now. My past hams all peed in the sand bath. She is going in the coco peat (Niteangel brand) and I have no clue how to clean it without making a huge mess. I can see small damp spots inside so I'm assuming she's going potty in there. What's the least-messy way to clean it? Also is this brand an okay substitute (cheaper and easier for me to access)?

(ugh messed up the title, can a mod change to 'Peeing in Coco Peat')

I wonder if using half sand half Coco peat would make it easier to clean?

Typical hamster! Unfortunately damp coco peat is not easy to clean and could lead to mould. I think it would be better to throw it. Maybe try replacing it with cork granules - it's another digging substrate. Then when she gets used to peeing somewhere else, you could try the coco peat again :)
