I just got a hamster 4 days ago I named him patches and was in four days he's come out on my hand ran up my arm down my back and played on my bed. He's a gift from god. Can anyone help me with plans for a duplex hamster cage please I want to make him the best house possible

Hi thanks for accepting me I recently required my best friend named patches. Within 4 days she was in my hand crawling on my back and neck and running around on my bed. I am currently looking for plans or trying to find plans to find him a two-story hamster home ready to be happy if anybody can help me I'd appreciate it thanks

Hello and welcome There are some ideas for diy cages on the link below. Some people use Ikea Pax or Platsa frames. I'm not sure about a duplex - is that two floors? Hamsters need one large space on one level - like a terrain. Within that you could have a platform or two, but platforms are best no more than 2" above the bedding. They are diggers and ground dwellers really I've also added the show us your cages thread in case you want some inspiration
