That reminds me of my little dwarf Edwina who used to dig down and gnaw at the stem until it fell over so she could get to the top seeds.
I've never seen a Robo climb a sorghum spray like that! Very funny to watch his efforts.

Typical hamster - instead of eating from the easy to reach bit at the bottom, they go for the hardest to reach bit!

It’s lovely he’s making himself at home. He will probably recreate that pile of substrate. I would leave it next time as there may be some purpose to it. Eg hiding a hoard or covering a burrow. It’s their mess and they really love messing with substrate! And building mountains etc.

I'm surprised the bedding hasn't collapsed in on itself with the amount of bedding he kicked out! Guess he must have a mansion under there now!!

Still wary of hands but we're gently getting into a routine where he takes food from me every evening.

What amazing videos you’ve captured 😃 lovin Pau on top of his spray, he really does look like he’s climbing a tree, fabulous! and so cute he’ll now sit and eat food from your hand, you must be so happy.

Ooh he is so gorgeous and sweet :-) Lovely that he's eating out of your hand.

That’s lovely, he’s so brave there & it’s so sweet to see him sat right on your hand.
