Our own Hamster Advent Calendar

I still like opening all the doors now there are a few to open :) Even though I've seen them already. And although I know what's behind them I can't remember exactly who or what is coming up next!
 
I'm not sure I can stay awake till midnight tonight :)

I also keep going back and open the doors again to look at the beautiful treasures behind them.
I'm not a fan of Christmas but must say that this calendar is definitely the best thing about it.

I think the hamsters have figured out that the heating goes off at 22.00 and get up early between 18.00 and 19.00 to free roam so they still have 3 to 4 hours between them. By 22.30 last night i was sitting there on my own again so went to bed as well.

It's nice to wake up knowing there's a new door to open.
 
Something similar here. I’m not waiting till 1am every night to let Raffy out. He seems to want to come out around the time every night regardless of when I feed him. Except that’s when the overnight heater has warmed the room up a bit after it gets cool around 10.30pm when fire is off. But he’s been doing it ever since the clocks changed anyway - maybe that’s still midnight to him!
 
I am often up till midnight and try and encourage him out but he’s not interested - until I’m just about to go to bed!
 
They really are clever little things and know when it's the warmest time to come out to play.
 
Aww Rafferty! It is so lovely to see what he looked like. He was beautiful.
 
I can't believe it will be number 17 tomorrow! At first it seemed like ages between each new day/picture - now the time is flying! That's the run up to Christmas for you I guess.
