That's great news, they'll help her so much look forward to pictures in the future with her beautiful coat ! She's lovely Ness

I didn't think she would take to them so well. But she proved me wrong. She can be a little fussy with her food. Some things she turns her nose up at and others she loves. It's like the cardboard she chews. She loves corrugated but not flat. Won't even touch tubes

My little hammy has got her borrowing head on. Not to make tunnels but to make a mess. And not just in one spot either

She does this sometimes. Even though the bedding is deep enough, she'll only do it when she feels like it. I can see I may have some meds to clean up in the morning

Well I think she will just mess it up again if you tidy it! So as long as it's not blocking her wheel, maybe just leave it?

Her wheels ok. She never seems to burrow deep all the time. It's always just under the surface. On the odd occasion she will do it, and you can hear her. On one occasion a few weeks back, she made a tunnel from near the gate, and came up inside her main hide, which I thought was impressive. I'm always praising her when she does something, even though she can't understand what I'm saying

Hammys just been up for her breakfast. Polished off her linseeds, done some foraging and collected some bedding. That's it for the day now, I won't see her until she gets up this evening

She's a little beauty. She's come a long way since the day I got her

She has a couple of little bald patches round her hip area on either side, but other than that, she's my perfect little hammy. She's about a year old now and I've had her 10 months. She's due to get up soon for a while, when she does she'll head on over to her favourite corner to demolition some cardboard
