My beautiful Happy

My one in a million. I haven’t been on the forum for a while since Happy started to get unwell in April. My brave girl had cancer with no cure and managed 13 weeks more on pain meds and a lots of love. She began to struggle last night a little so planned to take her in today but she passed in the night in bed with her mummy instead. Peacefully too which brings me a little comfort. I’d never find another hamster like her and my heart is broken. Rest peacefully Happy you’ll be missed so so much

She will still join in the photo comps I’m sure it’ll be nice to still show off my beautiful girl once I feel I can without getting upset. I’ve been so sad since April but she was so brave and still sweet natured, still never bit anyone and still enjoyed human company. She really stole my heart. We are burying her tomorrow in a pot of roses as my son said “she isn’t really gone, she’ll just be roses now” which I thought a lovely idea and we are going choosing one tomorrow. I’m just absolutely devastated today, thank you Maz

I know there are no word's that can give comfort, I send you hammy hugs, your son is right they never leave us , they are always in our hearts the rose pot is a lovely idea I find it's good to have somewhere you can go and just remember Ness
