I am so tired of reading “out of stock”
I finally got an AC and now the window outlets things are out of the stock! The flappy one I installed yesterday is rubbish. So I bought a multichamber plate, cut it down to size made a hole for the ventilation tube and ordered a nice fitting to go around the tube to make it look neat. All I need now is a bit of Velcro on each corner for safety and the job is done
My mum called me McGyver
On the foto it’s still got the protection tape on both sides and the flange will arrive on Saturday.

Truffle consents to allow me to stroke him, especially at feeding times, which are fortunately quite frequent. He purrs and pancakes and is quite cuddly but he isn't hugely keen on being picked up. The vet said he has a bit of arthritis in one of his hind legs so that may be why. If he thinks I am going to pick him up, he runs away . He is cute though. He looks his best in winter when his fur is long and he has a mane with ginger highlights

Yes you can do that, but whilst letting the hot air out, you are also letting hot air in. It cost a lot more energy

I have just walked 2,5 miles to the local shop to get Velcro (I am boycotting the fuel prices but already regretting it ).
I am too tired to cook so after my bowl of cornflakes I am off for a nap until nine when little Ninja will be rattling at his door
Mondays are not good for DIY projects

I bet you'll appreciate having Wednesday and Thursday off! I hope it doesn't get as bad as they forecast. I'll be very interested in how the air con works for you especially after all that trouble getting it Ness

I will probably only need it for those two days this year
I just looked on my camera, it 22 degrees currently. The blinds help to keep the heat out

Just cleaned Nibbles en-suite, he had stuffed it with so many treasures that there was only room for one small pee! So he peed in his nest instead
He has collected tons of empty peanut shells (what DIY project is he planning?) and three biscuits although he only gets one a week!
Then a giant month flew in the front room and I chased it with my duster. Nibbles was in his wheel in the kitchen watching me, the look on his face said: she’s lost it, gone crazy!
I managed to give the month a decent blow with the duster and swiped it out onto the balcony. I need tea and biscuits now
Thankfully i am off tomorrow
