Underfloor heating is nice As long as he has wheels on his cage, then that creates flexibility. That is good news. It seems that the temperature issues are working out OK. Yes, I can imagine a kitty very much enjoying warm flooring

Yes my cat loved the underfloor heating she was literally glued to the tiles
It’s not like a radiator which gets hot, it’s just an even earth so that you can walk barefoot even if it’s snowing outside. But if I feel that Nibbles is too warm I will wheel him into the bedroom, or if the ac is not powerful enough to cool down the kitchen and front room. The kitchen itself is larger than my bedroom
Today it was cool enough to give the flat a deep clean it’s so much nicer than the heat and humidity

Yes, their burrows would keep them comfortable in the wild. Living underground is making more and more sense. Lots of wild mammals dig into the earth or live in caves to survive

I guess underground keeps the same temperature in all seasons, warm in winter cool in summer
And the wild hamsters may be more robust

I am really annoyed with Amazon because the delivery date still says Thursday! But they have not booked the payment so I figured out something was wrong. And next week the temperatures are not looking cosy

I am so happy that i fixed the Bucatstate wheel and Nibbles is well impressed. The clonking must have annoyed him too. It spins like mad now and his little legs are flying

I took it apart and noticed the wheel was not on the rod properly (difficult to explain) next time I give it a good clean I will take fotos.
Nibbles is out, he showed me he wanted to come out by keep going in the sand bath, so I opened a panel. I have got a new small table in the kitchen, he made a bee line for it! He was nosey I bought the table to stand the ac on
He’s back in the playpen now, he knows he he choose where to be when the panel is open. That is his maximum fun

Yes that’s what I will do if they can’t deliver at all.
I am dreading the next heat but at least it gets cooler at night.
