Socks would stop as soon as my thoughts wandered. Our faces must seem huge to them, all our movements and tension magnified. They are quick learners, so might be picking up something from our expression. They can probably hear our breathing or even our heart beat

I believe they can sense our moods feelings too they definitely are very special and very sensitive

Yes we have had it for exactly one week
At least the extrem heat has been one week, I am so over it
In my office it was still 32 degrees today and that heat will stay for a few days. It’s an old buildings with thick walls. It takes longer too heat up but when the heats in, it’s trapped. Together with the smell of the heated up scrap metal and our Lorrie’s it’s not a fun place to be. But yesterday one of our many raccoons strolled close by at 7.00 in the morning after he had inspected our rubbish bins we have so many wild animals there I always wonder why they are so attracted by a scrap metal yard

I didn't know there were racoons in Germany. They are quite carnivorous animals so you don't want one in your house It's nice to have wildlife around. Do you get bears and wild boar nearby?

We have massive problems in some towns with Raccoons, they have overtaken complete streets. We don’t have bears but wolfs and lynx. The wolfs roams quite often where i work, he’s beautiful

Oh yes wild boars are here everywhere. You can buy the sausages made from wild boars
And we have loads of deers I can watch them from my desk in winter

They are very annoying they destroy cars and roofs, gardens and tip up rubbish bins. But they are cute. One got trapped in our bin once, I let him out but was frankly very scared. He just ran off and gave me a scare. But what’s more frightening is coming across the wild boars if you go foraging in the woods. I would never go on my own.

The Racoons must be looking for food or water if it's been very dry maybe? They are curious - like a cross between a tree climbing fox and a cat! I assume they don't attack or harm people. Maybe some pet charity should gather them up and create a sanctuary area where they can get what's needed.

It’s been going on for years. The problem is that they have no natural predators like in America.
They do a huge amount of damage, taking roof tiles off to get in and build their nest…scratching cars by climbing up etc. but they have a project going on to collect them and have them spayed
Something had to be done as the population is exploding

The Chinese wheel is getting too small he loves it so much, what a shame. I have ordered a Bucatstate on TEMU as they gave me a discount.
I couldn’t find the Chinese one a size bigger (it’s 22 cm).
When do they stop growing? His paws have even got bigger and the ears
I told Nibbles he looks like a bat- ster he was not amused.
He’s annoyed because I am playing with my phone instead of watching him spin the wheel
Oh well, it’s bed time soon that will really be a nogo

I was just about to make myself a cup of tea ️ and realised I had no milk here (I have got my pantry in the cellar). So I started singing the old but gold song no milk today…

I thought seeing it’s Friday night I would let Nibbles stay a bit longer in the playpen, but at exactly midnight the usual time after his two hour run, he looked at me and hopped into the sand bath waiting to be taken home
As soon as he was in the cage he inspected everything, fresh water (especially in the new tiny bowl in front of his entrance to the house), fresh food and dried flowers, then he collected the scattered treats and took them to bed. The bed and toilet were inspected and he happily sat in the house cleaning himself. This is our week night routine. He obviously didn’t want to change it he is always so exited about his clean house with all the treats waiting, he will be up at 2.00 am until 4.00 am for another spinning session.
I offered to let him out again, but he was happy to stay in the cage. At least he seems to enjoy it far more with the new bedding.
