Orphan, First Kill.
This is the follow-up release to 'Orphan', which I thought was great! So, I was well pleased when I saw the release of the 2nd film.
However, it wasn't a follow-up as such, it was a prequel. As well as having a particular dislike to part two of a film turning out to be part one, I felt it lacked any of the haunting, shocking originality of the first release. Also, to add insult to the injury of the viewers intelligence, Esther was clearly older looking despite the fact she was meant to be younger. She was a bit taller too. The entirety of the storyline was simply a long, drawn out version of the 'Big Reveal' at the end of the cracking original film. Just a cheap spin-off to rake in money, but for me, it just raked on my nerve ends!
