I had suspicions , but when I saw wound properly at vets ( cos he scruffs to pick up which I can't do ) it didn't seem like he was , vet was very pleased with him.

That's so great to hear I'm always impressed with how good vets are at handling hams, I don't think I'd have the hand eye coordination for a little robo

Scruffing isn't ideal as it can damage hamster's eyes

You are right about the scruffing,I hate it if he scruffs Robin,in fact,on my last visit ,I held her so that he could examine her foot and take a pic.
