So tonight I have bad news re Bobby. I got him out today while I spot cleaned , and he was slow , and slept a lot. When I got in the playpen with him and checked him, he had a patch of dried black on his chest. Took him to emergency vet, and he has a mass on the one side , and she said the black looks like it was a mass , and burst. So he's on pain meds, poor little boy. Normally he doesn't let me hold him for long and shoots off , but he is letting me hold him and stroke him , which is not him. I am so gutted.

Thanks maz. I got a smaller cage coming today as I won't be able to find him to get him out for his meds in his big cage. He slept in the carrier last night. Will put him in his playpen til it arrives.

I am so sorry to hear this, I do hope he recovers and its just an irritation. Sending a virtual hug and best wishes for recovery 🌷
 
His hospital enclosure is very impressive, credit to you. Your doing everything you can do! He's obviously got a very caring and loving owner, I can't see anything that you could do more. Apart from a wand to make the situation go away 😔🌸🐹Ness

Got very upset over Bobby last night and couldn't sleep , worrying , but got him out this morning and we've had him in the playpen all day so we can keep an eye on him, and he's already out for getting for cuddles, and later , meds. Had a cuddle in my break from work this afternoon ( working at home this week ) and a quick wound clean, and he didn't wince or wriggle when I did it this time , so hoping he's feeling better 😊

I know it is hard - I got very upset about Tino recently and then he came round after medication. Today sounds quite positive.
