Thanks , socks mum. The wheel is definitely a great way to catch them ,, as you said, they can't resist. Tho I wouldn't have managed to get him if he'd gone in one of the open wheels , he'd have darted out as soon as he saw me, but cos of the cover on the Trixie wheel he didn't notice me approach , and couldn't dart out so quick. Glad I had put a t shirt to hand to grab and cover the holes. Lol.A bit nerve racking! The wheel was a really good idea. He couldn't resist having a run on his wheel. Good that you are quick and closed the door. Well done catching a little quicksilver robo.
Perhaps he ate so many biscuits he could no longer hop fast enoughI have visions of you throwing a large net over an open wheel with a robo inA relative once had a gerbil on the loose and it was very hard to catch - it was like a little kangaroo. It got into kitchen cupboards, flipped lids off biscuit tins and someone had an idea to throw a huge garden net over the whole room - which made no difference. It did get caught eventually.
