Meet Molly

Well she has quite an aroma - which I will need to get used to! So I would think Raffy would be aware of it and her being female. I hope it doesn't drive him bonkers.
Albert has a strong scent too, but I'm used to it.

Welcome Millie! She seems really confident and it looks like she loves her cage :)
Thanks Daisy! Yes I'm sure I'll get used to it Frida. It must be fairly strong as OH could smell it! Normally it's me with the sensitive nose. I'm guessing she may be scent marking quite a bit though.

Lovely to see the pictures of Millie she seems to have settled very quickly must be your confidence coming through to her I think she will give you hours of pleasure

Thank you Jain. I think she was quite tame already and doesn't seem afraid of humans. I gave her a pumpkin seed in a white shell through the small section of bars tonight and she didn't quite seem to know how to open it and eventually just pouched it. I think she is going to be a very active little lady.

There was some discussion that she should maybe have been called Smelly rather than Millie lol. Seriously though it's not that bad!

No doubt she’s making her new home her own & doing a lot of scent marking, the smell might lessen a bit once she’s settled in & isn’t scent marking so much. It must be a bit different to what you’re used to though!
She does sound very confident, I don’t think it sounds as though she’s looking for a way out & just exploring, maybe she’s used to having interaction with people in the evenings too.
Females do tend to bar climb more than males I think so just as well you have the. perspex in place!
I think she’s going to be full of beans & character!

I think so too - that she is bound to be scent marking a new place. It sort of came and went in waves. She was up and about till quite late last night as well - running in her wheel - coming up to the bars. Sometimes with her chest flat against the bars so you could see the white patch, so then I'd go and talk to her. Raffy came out as usual and it was as if he hadn't a clue and hadn't even noticed anything!
