Cupid lives in a 45 gallon tank, his favorite food is freeze dried crickets and strawberries!

He looks really cute up against the side of the tank in that corner! The substrate looks very shallow there though, is it just like that in the wheel corner & does he have enough to burrow in in the rest of the tank?

Just a note about fruit for dwarf hamsters I'm sure he enjoys strawberries, but it's better to avoid fresh and dried fruits and just stick to a small bit of fresh veg and non sugary treats with dwarf hamsters as, unless you have an ancestry showing he is a pedigree then he will be a hybrid dwarf, and they are prone to diabetes. There's more information here. The crickets sound very healthy! Mine won't eat them

How long have you had him?

Not sure what kind of wheel it is. I’ve had him since he was little, somebody in my neighborhood accidentally had a bunch of babies and so I adopted one.

Almost 8 months! I got him on the 13th of February, that’s why he’s named Cupid.
