Do dried mealworms go bad? I cannot find a definite answer.

Thank you. Is having them in an airtight jar any different or do they still need using up in 6 months?They don't exactly go off as in unsafe, but they can go stale and smell a bit odd after a while. Also, the vitamins in them will degrade over time. I'd recommend trying to use them up within 6 months of opening. You can freeze them if you won't be able to use them up that quickly.
