Do dried mealworms go bad? I cannot find a definite answer.

They don't exactly go off as in unsafe, but they can go stale and smell a bit odd after a while. Also, the vitamins in them will degrade over time. I'd recommend trying to use them up within 6 months of opening. You can freeze them if you won't be able to use them up that quickly.

Thank you. Is having them in an airtight jar any different or do they still need using up in 6 months?

I would always keep them in an airtight container anyway, but it's still ideal to use them up within 6 months-ish (though not highly critical if they're only treats and not part of the main diet).

Thank you very much for your help. :)
