Miss Lilith, formerly Lyric was adopted on the 8th January 2020. She was 15 months old and had lived in rescue and foster care since she was 6 months old; she was an unwanted pet who was from a litter the previous owner had but could never find a home for. To this day I still can't understand why, she was so sweet. Despite being told that she really didn't like being handled, she soon decided to climb up on me with a snack.

Her confidence with people grew more by the day. She really enjoyed free roam time.

She had a squinty eye which she needed eye drops for which she took like a champ!

She was they upgraded to a larger tank style cage as she had a a sore nose from sticking it between the bars.

After that I moved her into her into a large barred cage. Which she absolutely loved.

Unfortunately not long after this, Lilith had a stroke. I removed the shelf and moved things about to make it more accessible for her.

She recovered surprisingly well and lived a full happy life for another month or two before I found her making her way over the rainbow bridge on the 10th May. I sat and cuddled her before laying her to rest. I'm glad I was able to give her forever home, even if it was for the final months of her life. I know she enjoyed the time spent here.

Sleep tight Lili. ❤️

The last few months of her life must have been the happiest. She was a lucky hamster to have had the chance to experience the loving care of a forever home.

Play well at the bridge Lilith.

She was adorable and lucky she had you. Play well over the rainbow bridge Miss Lilith.

What a sweet and special girl Lilith was. She sounded so happy living with you. I am so very sorry for your loss.
