I managed to keep Carl cool this summer and now I'm stressing to keep him warm. If we have a really cold dip will it affect him fast or do I have time to warm up the room. I'm thinking if we are out, the thermostat fails, or over night we are snuggled in bed not realising how cold it has become. We don't like heating a lot because it's uncomfortable but obviously Carl takes preference over us feeling a bit uncomfortable!!

I have caved and bought a heater to keep in the room. It's got sleep mode and maintains 19-20* really well. Allegedly economic to use....I'll find out soon I suppose 😲. But peace of mind 🙏

I know it's hard isn't it. I hope it wasn't too expensive. What type is it?

I tend to set the thermostat on mine to 18 degrees and the timer to come on once in the night about 2.30am for two hours. If it’s freezing weather I do leave it on a few hours overnight sometimes. But only on 18 degrees 😊

That makes sense - but the heating in that room is unpredictable. It gave me peace of mind!

Radia S easitronic delonghi. Not too bad about £85. It comes in sale often. And it is definitely holding the temperature and switching on and off.

That looks good - it's similar to mine which is also a delonghi :-)
