Please note: only use power tools when confident and able to do so.

1. Cut mesh to required size. I use a wire cutter.

6. Drill the holes carefully. Do not apply pressure or the plastic could crack. Let the drill do its job.

7. Cut the square. I use a Dremel with a pvc cutting disc attachment. Wear protective clothing and work outdoors or a workshop.

10. Decorative duck tape is optional.

13. Fasten the 4 corners with cable ties as shown, loosely at first and then tighten when mesh is in the correct position.

14. Add the rest of the cable ties, tighten and cut off surplus.

Brilliant tutorial Beryl.

I’m sure that will really help lots of people.

Great tutorial Beryl. Very clear and easy to follow. May try and make my own one of the days. 😊

Thank you! I am getting the stuff together to convert a bin into a temporary enclosure and this is exactly what I needed :)

(I was planning to cut the hole for the mesh and then drill the holes for the cable ties and as soon as I saw that you say to do it the other way around realised why!)

This was difficult to do without any power tools!
(again this isn't intended as permanent housing)
