Hello everyone,
Just wondering what treats everyone gives their hamsters. My little hammy likes a variety, so just trying to see if there are favourites out there that I haven't tried.
Alongside side fresh fruit and veg, what do you give your hamsters?
Also, I would like to give popcorn, as Jas loves corn, so I thought she might like popcorn, has anyone else tried this? We would just make plain popcorn in the popcorn maker, which I assume would be okay?

I give pumpkin seeds as treats (Raffy) - and sometimes the white ones (the white part is a shell) as they like cracking those open to get to the green pumpkin seed inside. Occasionally half a walnut (that causes great excitement) or a monkey nut (starting it off with snapping a small bit off the end so they can start breaking it open), occasionally a tiny friends yippee - also causes excitement and good for their teeth, rarely - a tiny bit of cheddar cheese. Dried coconut (or sometimes fresh). Rosewood peanut and papaya cookies, as a special treat (gets carried off with great excitement too). I go easy on sunflower seeds as treats as they can be quite fattening quite quickly with too many. Can't think of anything else right now!
