I am getting the Perspex bedding panels for the plaza . The 14cm deep all round ones. Seeing as Raffy chewed off my cardboard panels but continues to pile substrate up against the bars and it ends up all over the floor lol!

Did you get the panels yet?

They have arrived but got put away with Christmas things going on. I will have a proper look at some point and work out about adding them.

I realised I needed them lower at one side due to the shelf. I could have moved the shelf higher but they said no problem we'll do the right side panels 4cm less high. However I've now realised they might catch on the wheel fixings where it's attached to the bars - but I'm sure there'll be a way round it.

It will not be a quick job I think! Raffy will need to be out of the cage.

Just found out it is meant to be Orko! My friend asked an artist to draw him in his yellow heart bowl. Oops. I did not realise it was him!

My family loves an old Disney show called Gravity Falls. Victoria Raechel must, too, because she named 3 of her hamsters after characters from the show and had a hideaway modeled like a house in the show. ANYWAY, she just came out with this t- shirt based on the show and her hamsters that we are definitely getting. When my daughter got our first hamster, we also gifted her with one of the "hamster servant" t- shirts and the hamster "I am not a toy. " sticker.
