Raffy: Yes - one of them I don’t mind - the other is very embarrassing. I get called Raff monster sometimes, or little Raffykins

HBM: Where is your favourite place to go when you’re out of the cage?

I love to go on the humans bed. My dream is to jump off but alas, I am always prevented from doing this.

HBM: Do you have a favourite hide?

 

[Maz]

Raffy: Apart from my house I don’t do hides - although I like being under the human’s coffee table where there is a wheel and all sorts.

HBM: Have you ever eaten a slug?

No. What is a slug? It sounds tasty. I want one now.

HBM: Do you have a favourite vegetable?

 

[Lovelyness]

Blossom: I’ve tried carrot, courgette, pepper and cucumber so far. I know it’s not a vegetable, but my favourite treat so far has been wholemeal pasta, nom nom (My mum’s only had me for 8 weeks so far, so there’s plenty of time to try out other goodies )

HBM: maybe a bit early, but what are you hoping Santa will bring you this Christmas

Raffy: Sometimes I look like a ninja

Not really. Sometimes my fur is not as smooth as it could be but it is not really long enough to give me a bad hair day.

HBM: Do you have a favourite substrate?

L. Bear: Yes! I love my coconut fiber.

HBM: Do you have any secret things that you do that we don't know about?

I have many secrets but I cannot say in case the humans find out.

HBM: Do you have a favourite colour?

The accessories in my cage are all blue/turquoise. It’s not my mum’s favourite colour (nor mine really ) We would both prefer pink really like cherry blossom (which I’m named after ) but my mum wasn’t sure if she was going to get a little boy or a girl so thought blue was a safer bet. My enclosure does look quite nice tho as it’s all colour coordinated

HBM: How do you like to get your hoomans attention?

Raffy: I pull my water bottle out of its holder sometimes.

HBM: Have you ever jumped out of a toy box?

No. I do not even know what a toy box is.

HBM: Do you ever kiss your human?

 

[Maz]

Raffy: I don’t like kissing - sometimes my human tries to kiss my neck and I wriggle out of the way.

Not me, but my mum had a hamster before me. Mum oiled her wheel with olive oil but forgot to wipe it off, and the hammy got all greasy! Mum had to wipe her down gently with a wet cotton bud Mum didn't make the same mistake with my wheel lol.

HBM Are you getting up earlier or later with the change in season?

Raffy: I don’t know but my human keeps grumbling that it’s time I was out.

HBM: What's the most destructive thing you've ever done?

I am not destructive but I did once enjoy chewing the phone cover of one of the humans phone sadly, he realised and spoiled my fun. I managed to break it which made me proud.
