I have one cage under the stairs in a fairly large open area It's a darker corner as well

I leave the hamster cage where it is and find another place for a small Christmas tree! The tree did end up slightly obscuring the TV at one side as a result, which didn't bother me and the others had to put up with it lol.

I think that's what we'll do, it's not for long..

I think I've identified a suitable spot for Miss B on the other side of the lounge from her usual spot. In fact it may be a bit warmer as it's under the stairs. I had the tape measure out this morning trying to work out if her cage will fit She'll probably have something to say about it tho lol

Will she sulk..

Brilliant! All is right in Grommit’s world again. Hopefully he’ll be in a routine now

Hopefully, didn't need to lift the lid. I called to him and put cucumber in his tube. I set his playpen up and then I looked up and he was ready to come out.

She might lol. She did have a grump when I did a substrate change, and when I went away for a few days! She chewed through her corner toilet then

Oh that's lovely! He looks really tame on that second photo too Onwards and upwards eh The important thing is that he trusts you - which he clearly does - and then he will be more forgiving of everything and accept the odd upheaval - or being tempted out etc.

He woke up but didn't come out. I lifted the lid...he crawled into his tube and he was fine. We didn't think we could love him more but he's really made us so proud. Yes he sat in my fiancé's hand for quite a while having his head stroked

Someone had a new jar for a playpen Sandbath....he loved it...
