I took advantage of a window of sunshine to pop out and visit a local garden. It's so lovely there. Everywhere you walk, you are accompanied by birdsong. The frogs in the pond were especially fascinating. It was great hearing them croaking! It's hailing here now!!

Dashing out in the rain yesterday I suddenly noticed how many more flowers were out & hoped to get some photos today…. enter March!
It’s freezing, very windy, lots of freezing rain & piles of hail that look like snow everywhere! Now we have thunder too.
Oh well, maybe another day

Happy St David’s Day, Elusive!

Son in law’s family are gathering in Cardiff today to celebrate 90th birthday of family member.
They (with 3 yr old and 4 month old) are currently on the M4 nearing the Severn bridge. Hope weather improves for them all this weekend!

Beautiful mountains . We're due snow tonight as well - heavily apparently. 1st March - I was hoping it would start feeling like Spring and we get snow!

We haven’t had any snow this year down south! We have barely had any frosts either really.

Dwi’in siarad cymraeg tibin bach Elusive I was in Cardiff for 4 years while I was a student. I still have the faintest hint of a Welsh accent which comes out every now and then! I also sang in a Welsh choir

I only speak a tiny bit of Welsh There was a Welsh learning programme on S4C! I had a really strong Welsh accent when I returned home from Cardiff, and said ‘is it?’ after everything lol. I still say ych-a-fi! A bit of Welsh used to come in handy when we went to the Welsh bar in Cardiff after the 5 nations rugby matches! (Back in the day before Italy joined in!)
