Funny things about humans-A thread for hamsters

I have noticed my human is very messy when she eats a bowl of cornflakes sitting on the sofa. She always manages to drop one or two on the floor. But that's ok as I just eat them up.

I was enjoying eating some seeds when I overheard the humans talking about Cloud. One of them said 'Why dont you upload Sprite's pictures onto cloud'. No way! I do not want my pictures on Cloud. 😡

Tut tut - watch your language in front of Sprite! I hope you reassured him you meant remote utility storage 🤣

I am researching a study on how to deal with suspected torpor in people ❤️👩🛌 Anecdotes welcome😄 This can happen at any time of the day or night and in humans is not always related to temperature drops.

I have always wondered what my humans names are. I think I have worked out one of them. His name seems to be 'Sprites out'. This is what the other human says to him when she wants to get his attention. Now I need to find out her name...

Raffy: I know what you mean Sprite. One of my humans is called "The Hamster's out" - but the other human calls her a different name. The other one seems to be called "go to bed".

Since I was adopted I see my human is slowly colouring her hair to get more and more grey to look like me. She must really love my good looks.

I think my human is copying my waddling walk - she does walk funny. They do say humans become more and more like their pets - why can't they just be original like me?

How many humans does it take to collect seeds?

Two. One to look for them and one to hold them because they do not have any cheek pouches. 😂

They often store them in lots of little containers and then can't find them. I've never known of a hamster who forgot where his seeds were. Perhaps it's because humans are forever reorganising things?

Maybe they should stash them in their bed, then they would be easy to find!

Albert: how old do you have to be before your mum stops calling you "Baby Boy"? 🐹🙄
