I love the photo of the squirrel 🐿️😍

Squirrel: hello, are you open? A little birdie told me you like to feed the wildlife.

On our walk this afternoon, we went by the area where the Egyptian geese family were yesterday. I wanted to try and take a photo to post here. Mum was nearby and dad not much further away so I had to be careful not to raise concerns by getting too close. But expand the photo and all 7 can be seen.

I love squirrels too. We have just the one, he hangs off the peanut feeder helping himself 😁. Then the dog spies him and he runs up our tree. He is very fast!

It’s no use you hiding in the kitchen when I want my monkey nuts…please!

Lovely little Squidgel 🥰. That’s what we used to call Squirrels when my kids were small. (My Son still does at the age of 30 🤣) x

It’s self service at my door, no squirrels though.

It certainly is :) it’s just blue tits, great tits & the robin on there, the other birds are on my living room window but after all the rain we’ve had it needs a good clean! I might take a photo when I’ve done that.

That’s amazing! I’ve tried those window feeders before, but have never managed to get them to stay on the window.

This morning is the warmest day for at least a month now. My H commented that the poppies have never been as good as they have this year. The 2 areas are going strong. First on the sunnier side which they prefer and on the shadier side too with a lone blue cornflower hanging in there. Lots of bee activity continues and many of the earliest flowers are now hard at work on their seed pods. Even if I harvest some, I expect self seeding to be wide spread next year as there are so many pods.

The fuschia plant remains in full flower too though still mainly very low down. It needs thought on how to trim it and when and how to encourage higher growth next year. But plenty of time for that.

Maestro’s pinks continue to flower well but again without height and strength. Much more care will be needed if this coming winter is anything like as cold. But at least it is alive and trying hard.
