Brilliant - thanks Daisy - I had no idea you could get access to defunct websites! And yes it was Oak Farm I was thinking of :)

Oops - when I click on that link I get a "dangerous web page" warning in red. That might be my specific antivirus though and not all antivirus would block it.

I was able to view the site. Maybe it is your antivirus blocking it.

I used a different web browser and it opened fine. Which is strange as it's the same antivirus whichever browser I use! Anyway it opened with a different web browser. It is such a great site about Robos. Thank you so much for finding it Daisy.

I've saved all the pages as pdf's on my computer (print to pdf) for future reference, as I always found that an amazing site for info about Robos. The page on how to sex a robo is particularly helpful.

Rainbow, if you need any reassurance about feeding fruit and veg, it's all on there, from an experienced owner. I find Robos to be quite robust in their health generally - any issues are usually due to genetics.

The article says robo are very sensitive to heat. That is interesting as I have not noticed this. I have noticed when there is hot weather they seem to cope a little better then expected. I am just going by Orko and members robos on this forum.
I've noticed that Ares is less active during the colder weather but thought it was just one of his things. So it's interesting to know that robos in general are more sensitive to heat. I have noticed my robos have done better in the heat than my Syrians though.

I always thought that Robos are the most robust of all species. Ours don't seem to be bothered by heat or cold, they carry on as per normal.
