Hello!

I have decided to get back in to keeping hamsters after a few years. I love rodents so much, especially Syrian hamsters. I’ve found a little special needs ham from a rescue and I will be receiving him next month! I’m tickled to death to finally have another ham in the house!

I’ve bought a Bucatstate 3.0 and most of the supplies now. My husband is making a custom cabinet for the cage to go on because the Bucatstate is MASSIVE! I swear, I think you could easily put a person in that thing, LOL!

I look forward to getting to know this site, and I’ll have to update you guys with a full set up in the coming weeks once I have everything put together!

Hello and welcome It is exciting! Yes I am sure you could get a person inside a Bucatstate 3 Is it the 120cm one? Having it on a cabinet sounds great as it will be at a good height to manage easily presumably.

It is the 120 cm one!

He is a young man with a retained testicle so he should still have a happy, uncomplicated life. Just monitoring him and checking him regularly so nothing changes. I had planned on seeking a pup through a reputable breeder but those are few and far between… (and all very far away from where I live)

Aw I love male syrians. You never know, it might eventually appear! I have one male syrian who didn't seem to have any for months, but they did appear eventually!
