Draco is a girl!

I think Draco is probably a boy too.

Are you sure his nails need to be trimmed? They look ok to me, though I can only see the back ones.
 
I thought the nails look ok too. They are straight and don't look curved.

going to take him to the vet next week (the exotic vets are on vacation this week). He’s not as active, but he’s still eating and drinking really good.

Not sure if his nails need to be trimmed or not- but he’ll get a full checkup!!

I hope nothing is wrong with him. I’d be devastated if something happened to him so early on
 
Is it hot where you are? If so perhaps that is why he is not as active. It is very positive he is eating and drinking as usual.

it is so hot here!! Hopefully that is it. He’s got a little tile in his cage so he can lay on that if needed
 
That is great. You can also put a mug or ceramic hide in the fridge then pop it in his cage when it gets cold. I am sure you know that already. :)

It could well be the heat. We had a hot spell here in England and some of our hamsters weren't that active. I hope that's the summer over and done with.
 
I got a vet appointment for next Wednesday for him. He’s due for a check up anyway :) Hopefully it’s just the heat!!
 
I have the Rodipet version of that and I think Draco is going to love it. :)
 
Photo please! Tree trunk tunnel with hanster :-). (I’m not quite sure what a tree trunk tunnel is).
 
just got confirmation from the vet: Draco is a girl!!

She is a perfect weight and nothing is wrong with her
