Curly mice!

I saw this tonight - I've never seen curly haired mice before They are very cute

They are very cute, a bit like poodles! I think there are rex Syrians too but they're not nearly this curly, probably because the gene hasn't been bred for as long.

I have seen them before but still enjoyed all that curly cuteness I think it’s something similar to rex but not sure if there’s something else too.

I can't believe they are real. Are they naturally like that or have humans been playing with nature?

The rex mutation that gives them the curly coat occurs naturally but I guess breeders then selectively breed to get the most babies with curliest coats.

There is a Rex mutation in hamsters as well Frida - that also gives curly hair . So it isn't that humans have been playing with nature really - it’s a natural mutation just as certain colours are - but if they have two of each sex then they will create more

I've seen Rex guinea pigs, rats and hamsters but never mice. They are so cute!
