That is one of my concerns too! Also I’m not sure it would work in our living room as the floor is lumpy in places and it can leave gaps under something like a playpen! It’s not an issue for me at the moment as Raffy free roams and is too big to get under the gaps anyway - but it was an issue when I had a Robo.

The Songmics playpen is not suitable for a robo. Orko escaped it. The Getzoo one is ideal for robos.

Maybe light is a better indicated of season than temperature which is more changeable.
I remember seeing something about mountain hares in Scotland a few years ago when the winter was unusually warm & the white coats which usually act as camouflage and result from the shorter daylight hours made them really stand out with no snow!

I quite like my Skyline Ranch one And Happy Henry's Homes do one similar to that - they are both similar to the Getzoo one. Not sure if or where you can get the skyline ranch one any more, but they weren't cheap - about £50.

It’s quite straightforward in the wild, apart from climate change messing things up but it is interesting how different it can be with domesticated animals.
