Cindy

Ah yes a dog could get into a playpen. How about the bathtub and shut the bathroom door? My robo Pip liked red sorghum too :-)

The trouble with shutting the bathroom door is my two lodgers! I am going to save up for something a bit bigger. I am wondering about eventually making a diy enclosure for her to move to and using her current one as a play space. Not for sometime now as finances need to recover.

She came out at 2pm and at 6pm. It is great to have so much time with her. Lots of eating from my hand and strokies xxx

She had a playpen session each time. She is a little honey pie.

She's having a good look to see if she can get out of the playpen :-) And still wanting out! Rusty looks mesmerized :-)

He does. That photo of Rusty was taken in the sitting room so nowhere near the mesmerising Cindy! Yes she does the rounds for possible escape routes every time.

She's as cute as ever, seems to want up a lot  Any plans to give her an area to roam about?

Yes but it may not be for a while as outgoings have increased but incomings haven't!

I would like to make some kind of DIY run but I am also looking out for large second hand cages. Her current run is a 32 litre underbed storage box but I can't leave her in it unattended due to it's low sides. I need something sturdy to keep Rusty dog at bay.

I know that feeling 😂. Is there a section of a room you could make hamsterproof somehow? Even using cardboard (old boxes) to fence a section off?

Oh no that wouldn’t work with Rusty I guess - unless he was in a different room.

A higher sided bin would work - I think I used the largest rub bin at first but they’re not cheap either! Another brand might be. For our Robo I just had a very large cardboard box (it was huge!) but that was difficult to find a home for.

My room is shall we say fully utilized and so there is hardly any space left. I am looking at somehow clearing the top of my ikea kallex fully. Her play box is on there at the moment and if I get something a bit more sturdy I could have a really lovely space for her.
