You guyyyssss I feel so bad for manhandling Bernie like this 😭😂 But I try to pick him up and give him a good check over every once in a while. I promise I’m not gripping him as hard as it looks like I am lol. I have a couple questions…

1. Does it look like normal pee on his wheel? Usually it’s a little more yellow and a little lighter than this so I thought I’d ask.
2. Does his nether region look normal? Mostly wondering about the red circled area, to me it looks like there’s extra skin lumps there but idk!

I’m still a first-time hammy mom and I’m just unsure.

I am not a vet, but his urine does look very concentrated. Does it smell stronger than usual? Has he been drinking less? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think she needs to be checked by a vet. A yearly vet check is never a bad thing. It is a good idea to register with an exotic vet and go along to see if there is anything wrong. I hope she will be OK 🙏❤️

Their urine can vary in colour. Sometimes milky coloured, sometimes browner. Could it also be possible she had some food in her wheel and pee'd on it? Then ran in the wheel. I've had that before. But if there was no sign of food.

If it's a darker colour like this, it could mean dehydration. Does she seem well enough in herself? It could be worth having a vet opinion.
