Ukkie is in a bin cage right now and is happy in it, he is almost 2 years old already, and with the ban of all dwarfhamsters (besides chinese) in the netherlands, i don't want to buy a new cage for him.
there is still debate about the ban, so maybe they will be allowed again later, but for now i wait and see.

It does look the same cage but with wheels and interestingly it's in white. Some of these cages are made by one cage manufacturer and sold by different companies under different brands, but also sometimes with slight differences (like the colour or the wheels).

That's interesting there is still debate in the Netherlands. Can't believe Ukkie is nearly two!

I really like the vevor cage, I only had one issue: two of the screws which hold the side bars just wouldn’t grasp. No matter how hard I tried. Sending it back was an issue, so I glued them. As they are on the outside this was not a problem. But it left me with an anxious feeling, hoping it would hold. There has been no problem even though I have moved the cage. But that’s why I ordered the Bucatstate as it is a very good offer.
In the reviews I read several people had the same problem. Otherwise it is very good and sturdy.

The door at the front is also a bit floppy. I have heard the Bucatstate is more solid. But this didn’t bother me you just have to be gentle with it
The top has bars, if you have a climber it could lead to money baring. Nibbles did that only on his first day

That’s true… but when I am in the kitchen I open the top for ventilation. But of course it’s not always possible. Maybe that’s why Nibbles likes the playpen so much : no top

It looks good. There is probably less ventilation than a Bucatstate as less roof vents with the front sloping door. It still looks ok but I wonder how large the roof vents are? Further down the page they look quite a bit larger than 1cm.

Yes,that's what we were discussing. It allows for deep.enough bedding ,and putting the wheel to the back,but the vents o look massive .I don't need any more cages ,but thought it could be an idea for someone?!

It would need the vent size checking or they'd be an escape route.

I have had the new Bucatstate for several weeks and can now give a review on the difference of these two cages.
The Bucatstate is slightly bigger, and you can attach wheels. That is the main reason I bought it.
The screws of the Bucatstate are definitely better quality but cages are sturdy and there is no difference between the two.
The lid of the Vevor is safer, it has two locks and it has better ventilation.
The front door is much bigger on the Bucatstate but this also makes the front perplex panel less stable. The locks on the door of the Vevor are tighter.
IMO if the Vevor had wheels and was slightly larger, it would beat the Bucatstate especially since it is far more affordable and the lid and front panel are more sturdy.
I really like the Bucatstate cage but want to give an honest review.
So if anyone is interested in the Vevor cage, I can definitely recommend it.

i dont want to annoy anyone who has a Bucatstate and is a fan... that´s why i postet it here. I thought if anyone is interested in the vevor, they could read the review. I am not saying the Bucatstate is not good, I am happy with it. I added two locks to the lid, and when its hot and I am at home, I open the lid for better ventilation

I was also surprised that the Bucatstate has no locks on the lid. I added two small locks although Nibbles doesn’t try to open the lid, but it just made me feel better. You never know if a hamster did try to climb out and the lid fell down it would be a death trap! Vevor has two locks on the lid.
I really like the Bucatstate it looks very elegant, but I wanted to write an honest review.
There is a big price difference and not really such a huge difference in the quality.

That is good to know. Shame the Vevor isn't just that little bit bigger. It's still not a bad size though.
