It'll be interesting to see if she uses it or chews it! I guess if she starts to struggle to get up onto things with age, the tube could be pumped up a bit higher with some bedding underneath so she can just step out of it (the bedding would help angle it). Although at the moment she might just remove all the bedding again!

Yes, that’s another possible addition as she gets older…if she’ll permit it

It's hard to know. Sometimes they're more laid back when older, sometimes more fussy!

She’s been in the tunnel (I put some food in there to entice her in). She also climbed up her 2 little steps and peered over to her platform but hasn’t attempted to get up on the platform from there yet. Hopefully she’ll work it out soon. She came over to her bars for a chat, and I did point the tunnel out to her, but she ignored it!

Hamsters tend to take the first/easiest route So maybe the steps will be easier - I'm sure she'll at least sit in the tunnel sometimes.

The top step is the top of the tunnel, so hopefully having gone up the first 2 steps, she'll realise that there's one more step which will take her to the platform.
