Oh that's good news He's so cute. I'm sure he'll be fine - just keep keeping an eye on him but he seems to be hamstering along fine. Yes it looks normal - I've always found it odd it doesn't look clear. First time I saw it in a tube with our first hamster I wondered what the heck it was!

Mind if I see your setup with cushions??

This is quite an old photo but I still have the same cage stand in the same location - you can just see the large floor cushion at the bottom of the photos. It's in the centre so under the door areas It's too messy round there to take a new photo just now! I have hamster stuff all over the place at the moment in that area. But it's the same stand and same floor cushion.
