Meet Bernard 
This is my very first hamster (as an adult!) and I’ve had him for a bit over a week now. He is a long-haired Syrian and I think he’s somewhere between 4-6 months old.
I love him so much, I feel like I have a newborn and I don’t have + don’t want children
He is slowly but surely getting more comfortable with my boyfriend and I. He almost always takes treats from our fingertips and is typically okay with pets.
For the last few months, my brain has basically just been “hamsterhamsterhamster” in preparation for him and it has honestly been a great hyperfixation in this shitty world.
I’m so excited to keep getting to know him and hopefullyyyy one day get to hold him
