This thread is for baby food options. Eg for an older hamster needing softened food or for a hamster on medication (using baby food to put the medication in).
This list will probably change over time and need updating and editing now and then as things stop being available or new things become available.
Ingredients wise, they shouldn't contain the following:
Onions
Garlic
Spices
Pepper
Tomato
Citrus fruits/lemon juice
Dairy and cheesy ones less preferable but probably fine occasionally
Age four months baby foods tend to not contain these ingredients. Some age six months ones are ok.
The ones below don't contain any of the ingredients listed above and are fine - many of them tried and tested!:
Hipp Organic Baby food jars:
Sweet Squash and Chicken 6+ months
Carrots, peas and cauliflower 4+ months
Apples and Pears (no lemon juice) 4+ months
Carrots and Peas 4+ months
