Did you get bitten when you trimmed Ares's nails?

No. He didn't want to cause harm, just wanted to get away. I do have some thick gloves and I used a rag to cover him so it was dark which helped to calm him down.

He wasn't happy to see me tonight. He noticed I was there and ran to his nest. I'll give him a couple of days to calm down and go from there.

I've bought him a bag of mixed seeds, which he can't resist. Way to his heart is through his stomach, so it shouldn't take long.

The seeds worked...kind of. Still suspicious of the uncovered hand, but will get the seeds off the gloves hand. Other than that he's back to his usual nosey self.
