Anyone want some free sprays?

Hi all,

Just read the code of conduct, and I don't think this is disallowed, but admin please delete if it is!

So, Obie isn't interested in these sprays (see photo). I have one unopened bag, and half an opened bag, to give away to another hamster who might like them. All I ask is that you pay postage (please give me a day or two to figure out the cost).

Hello. We did have another similar post recently on this We don't encourage people to share personal details, and it's not possible to PM on here - this is mainly due to the online safety act requirements for the forum.

It's a bit frustrating I know and kind of you to offer them. The only time this happens these days is once a year when there's a prize for the Christmas photo competition, if the winner is happy to share their address privately, and I send it to the hamster name at that address.

The difficulty is, although we mostly all "know" each other on here, there are many members who join and don't post regularly and you don't know who they are, so it's a security thing. The nearest thing in the forum rules is asking people not to post any identifying information, because posting publicly is the only option when there are no private messages. The lack of private messages is due to the online safety act.

Is there a hamster rescue near you that they could be donated to? Otherwise I sometimes say just use them in the enclosure anyway, even if the hamster doesn't eat them, as they still provide cover and a natural environment

I won't delete as it's helpful for others to see what the issue is as well.
