Alexa randomly playing music

Hmm yes. Raffy may well think he's a super trooper!

My Alexa does weird things as well. We ask her to play music. She does. But then we tell her to stop she doesn't. She doesn't stop about 3 times before stopping. It's weird 👻

I finally solved it. All the googling said - you must have a routine set in the app. We didn't set any routine and couldn't see anything in the app. But it got so annoying after a while I searched a bit harder in the app and eventually found this routine set and turned it off. No idea how it got there!

I suspect it might have been a teenager actually - although probably accidentally :-)

No strangely it only came out of the one speaker. It's been fine for a while now.

Not as funny as the one where Alexa suddenly told me someone was at the door in the middle of the night! :ROFLMAO: Although actually that wasn't funny (in hindsight it is), it freaked me out! It was early hours of the morning and I was up late with Raffy. I called upstairs to OH to come and check in case there really was someone outside the house (alexa is linked to the ring doorbell which has a detection thing). We were talking about it and Raffy suddenly got all stressed and making chirruping noises. I think he must have heard the panic in my voice and the concerned tone in the conversation. There was no-one outside and when I looked back at the video it was something had blown against the doorbell - maybe a bird flew into it I can't remember.

But it took me ages to settle Raffy who was chirruping loudly.

It is amazing how aware hamsters are, almost telepathic. Especially if they are well bonded to their carer. They tune in to us very accurately and acutely. I think like dolphins they may have an acoustic sonar map of us and might be able to hear our heart beats. Quite amazing little animals!

Nope- Once I tried taking a spray from Little Bear, but he held on, so I let him have it. :)
