Been to Sainsbury's to get few bits and noticed they sell brown linseeds. I've never come across them before. I picked up a bag for Albert.
Hubby: why are you buying brown linseeds?
Me: for Albert. To keep his fur nice. Some owners give them to hamsters to encourage hair growth on bold patches etc.
Hubby: get another bag. I'll give them a go for my bold patch.

Took Albert's wheel out to clean it last night. I managed to get a photo of the burrow hole that is underneath his wheel. It's one of four that I know of. Albert is very protective of his burrow holes, so I had to be quick to take the photo incase he came out from his nest and saw me.

Under the wheel always seems to be a favourite place, you do have to be a bit sneaky to have a look don’t you, if I get caught out I always tell them “It’s ok, I’m not looking”!

Albert has just had a snack hence the seed husks next to him. He always seems to have something in his pouches just incase he gets a bit peckish.

Albert is looking gorgeous as ever He looks so well and fluffy Nice to see him having a bit of a groom as well. I always like watching them grooming. He looks very contented on the sofa. How old is he now?

Even when he’s just having a wash he’s full of character!

Albert is about 15 months old.
His fur is very soft and fluffy. I have to wait for him to have a wash before he comes out. He takes forever. I'm always saying to him "can't you come out now and have a wash later". Albert just totally ignores me until he's finished and then runs to the open door as if he's never been let out before. I'm very lucky that Albert likes having strokes and cuddles. He does always have a sand bath when I put him back and another wash and brush up. That always makes me laugh

Albert: you've messed my fur up. I'll have to start all over again

I'm just glad he doesn't use the human bathroom. We would never get anywhere on time because he takes ages to get ready
